        The Nelspot has a much longer neck on the pierce pin than a Phantom, so you need to drill and tap the threaded neck of the CCI pin for 8-32 threads and use a vented (hollow) 8-32 setscrew as an extension to make up the difference.

            Thanks for the information, Jordan. I have a Nell spot valve body with a broken pin. If I can remove it, I may put a CCI pin in it.

              The early pins were adamantium or something similar... skip any drillbit you still want to use again.
