Purchased a 4-pack of these EBL 280mAh NiMH 8.4v batteries. Already have a charger @ home that can handle 9v NiMH. I’ve used EBL AA rechargeable batteries for laser tag guns (Recoil) and they seem to work really well. I’ll let everyone know how they work.

Batteries arrived today. Not sure whether I got lucky or if their description was off, it it came with the four batteries described in the ad PLUS a 4- slot charger for three different battery chemistries (NiMH, NiCD, and Li-ion). All of this for $16 USD shipped. It charges using a usb cable, so it’s definitely portable. I can now take along some big phone battery banks and charge up my 9v batteries as they get low during a game.

I’m wary of the low price… but I’ve used EBL batteries in the past and they’ve worked well.

I've been using EBL 9v batteries for years. I started using them in my Proto Rize and they never let me down. That was 6 years ago and I still have some in use. I bought another set of 4 a couple of years ago. I have used them in hoppers, my LV and other electronic guns. The only issue I have had with them is they are a little thicker than a standard 9v. Not much but in some hoppers they were a tight fit.
