    So I bought this:

What I know is it’s a pre-2k Evo. What is stock, what is not? General history? I’m not as knowledgeable about pre2k cockers.

I'm gonna need you to send it to me to verify everything is correct. Don't worry I'll send it back eventually 😉.

Would these early ones have come with the angry frame?

Yes, I think it is any Angry frame. Has the bottom trigger adjustment screw which I don’t think WGP frames had.

dont think the real early ones, like this, came with angry frame, pretty sure it came with a cast WGP slider. this is 97/96 or so. hpr is bob long-not original, lpc is shocktech, dont think they came with twister caps either (possibly may have been an option), the barrel is a bob long i believe. this is a pretty rare earlier evo, i like the green ones

Yes barrel is a Bob long. In the 690 bore size even.

Is there an easy way to tell if it’s an Angry frame? Lower trigger adjustment screw seems to match an Angry frame, but I’m not very knowledgeable about various slider frames.

yea its an angry frame. u can tell more so by the shape of the frame, they have a more distinct trigger guard with less milling as compared to other brands. as for age u'd have to remove the trigger plate to see if its pre or post '98. most of them ive seen are 98+

Looks like we'll all have to jump on Craigslist too. Ontario Craigslist is very disappointing though.

People largely use Craigslist here and very few use Kijiji. The mag I found by fluke because it wasn’t listed properly. Guy didn’t mention “paintball” at all in the ad. Found it searching “air gun”.

That's mostly original..... the reg isn't but who's counting. The barrel might be a DAC, which isn't wrong for that era of evo.

The twister cap is a belsales item. It replaced the original front cap on stock wpg lprs to make them externally adjustable. Great pickup.

You should sell this to me so I can use it around Meleager7.
          😉

In all seriousness I really want this, so colour me interested if you do sell and 8 million people aren't in front of me.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

If you had this lefty evo, when you weren't looking , i'd throw a PTP universal elbow, plus a regular elbow on it, and fix it!

Our friends at Vintex Rex has a little bit about these. Apparently these were the basis of the Predator cockers before they got lasers and milled.

Eh... Not exactly. Evos in general were the basic of the predator. They preferred lefty's. But this is not a predator gun.

All Predators I’ve seen say predator. Just never realized what their roots were. Preds had top bolt pin and custom milling on the bolt as well, I believe.

I have two I know what the look like. Prior to official predator cockers they used green Evo cockers that had "predator" engraved on one side and the players rank/name on the other. Those were generally green/left feed

The serial number dates it to 1995. To my knowledge, the angry frame wasn't out at that point. They were offered as an upgrade option by 97, per Ravi's Evo review. Same with the Twister kit on the LPR; not sure when they came out.

Besides the HPR, it is entirely stock. Well, I think they normally came with SP wood grips, but that also could have been an upgrade.

Confirmed it is any early Angry frame.

Here’s a better picture of the bottom of the frame:
