Been quiet on the Satco front, anything new?

Nothing new, still working on getting them all into one place, and trying to determine how best to disseminate them to collectors (and what a fair price for them is). Also, _just_ got a package from Bacci which may help determine just how close the barrel threading is to the F1 Illustrator based on a hunch Doc had.

This is perhaps the most ridiculous MCB find of the decade, mostly because I remember Doc's original SATCO writeup and thought that was the end of it.

I'm a little disappointed to look up the address on the manual and find only a self-storage facility. I was planning to make a drive over if there was still a machine shop.

Any plans for an all-SATCO game in the near future?

Heh, I figured someone would look up the address and phone number. I'm kind of glad that it doesn't provide any leads, as this acquisition had to be done below the radar, as it were.

As of just a few hours ago, I believe _I_ now own them. This 20+ year quest may finally be coming to a conclusion.

I had never heard of these (rightfully so apparently). Just ready docs article. Dang that is some nice machining. Especially the trigger group. It's beautiful and amazingly complicated. I love it.
