Hey , were any aftermarket bolts made specifically for the Millennium?

Are there any spyder bolts that are compatible ?

The Millennium is a fancy bodied Spyder and all internals for the fatty striker Spyder bodies are compatible. All Milly bodies are ready for a rear cocking bolt. The oldest bodies will also have a side cocking slot. All of the Milly bodies will have a top cocking slot.

Not entirely correct

Millenniums sold as complete guns are top cocking only there is no rear cocking or side cocking slots. As old as these are im sure there are a few that got parted.

Millenniums were also sold as replacement bodies for spyders these are top, rear, side cocking.

Keith, I've never seen a Milly body incapable of rear cocking as they are all open at the back top tube. If you are referring to a screw hole (for a rear cage) on top at the back then yes, not all Millys will have that hole.

I have a plain black millennium that's top and side cocking compatible. Works fine with the couple of bolts I have, and even a Spyder 2000 flush cocking kit.

If you find you have a top cocking only let me know. I may have some leftover parts. I'm truly not sure as that's a box I haven't opened in 10 years.

My Milly is a top cocking version, no side cocking slot. Dust off that 10 year old treasure chest!

Dude, you need to pick up a spyder 2000 and gut it. The internal/flush cocking is a really cool gimmick.

Here are the pictures of my Blue Splash. It is a full gun Millennium. I bought it new. It is the first paintball gun I owned. Has somewhere over 300 chases of paint thru it. Last time it was used was 2005.

The black is my cousins gun I build up for him from a Millennium replacement body. Last time this was used was 2012 or so.

The Blue gun is missing the side slot as well as the slot between the tubes that would make it rear cocking. The wear highlights this. Go figure. It also does not have the hole on top to hold something like a aka rear cocking.
The blue gun also has a recess for a jewell. I have it but when I bought the gun it had already fallen off and was sitting in the box. Its still there.

The blue one has its stock original cyclone bolt.

The black is pretty much the same as its a bob long cyclone bolt just the longer rear cocking style. (Shown in the cocked position because I was stupid enough to pull it back and theres no batteriies in the gun)

Some of my other milleniniums have various aftermarket bolts. But its long enough I would have to look.

Keith is correct on this one. In my above comment I referred to the top tube itself being open and didn't mention the material in the body between the top and bottom tube. I've a bolt (unknown manufacturer) that brings the striker-bolt pin up into the bolt when the knob at the rear is turned. I can use it on the oldest style Millys. Shocktech made bolts for Spyders which are similar however the striker-bolt pin does not recede all the way into the bolt.

The original top cocking models used a single pin for the cocking rod and striker-bolt pin. The stock bolt can be used in other Milly bodies with its pin however the later model rear cocking bolts will not work in the older bodies as the material at the rear of the body between the tubes does not allow a way in for the striker-bolt pin.

I actually threw a 2k2 Timmy anti chop bolt I had lying around in my millenium. Fits great and sin e it's delrin it slides a bit smoother.

Ideally, I want to find a nice gloss black gas thru for this and run a bottomline asa, but to get some pics for now, here is a vertical setup with my 12 oz Siphon tank , and my in yo face T stock thrown on there for fun.

I also tuned it for liquid co2 today in the shed.

To reduce internal volume, the bob long lpc is removed, and a spyder front cap installed its place.

From a Warrior spyder spring kit, I have the heaviest valve spring installed (gold), and the light/medium (blue-ish) drive spring in there. With the RVA turned all the way in it was shooting 310fps. The RVA is backed out where you see it in the pics to get in the high 270s/ low 280s fps

I'll get some co2 fills , and run this for the MCB Sept meetup!
