Were these stocks mass produced....

The hole marked with an "X", and the two at the end of the tray look like they were added as an after thought. The bolt/washer/wingnut were holding the bar and tray together, through the "X" marked hole.

The other hole in the bar is threaded, and aligns perfectly with the slot in the tray. It just needs a new bolt.

The shoulder rest (vertical) is 7" long...

While I've never seen that OP stock before, keep in mind that in the early days of the sport, virtually everything came out of a small, usually one-man, garage shop.

In other words, it may not technically be a "one off", but maybe the guy who did it only made ten, and he did it thirty years ago. The rest were either thrown away, recycled or are in a dusty old bag of paintball leftovers, where they've been since the Clinton Administration.

Hard to tell. Whoever did the welding is pretty good with a TIG, but other than that? You could argue it's more likely a one-off since it never got anodized, but that's nothing certain. There's literally thousands of things out there that I made that didn't get anodized, since neither I nor the customer could afford it.
