Yeah, I've got the parts coming to make a tester. Should be here by Thursday evening so I can see what the tank is outputting. Also, my valve spring is definitely in place and I even tried a stronger one as well but it didn't help. Cup Seal is on tight as well. Got all that stuff fixed with help from this forum a couple weeks ago. I did take some pictures showing the pin of the Hpa tank compared to the CO2 tank using a straight edge...as well as pictures of the hammer and bolt wear areas. The first tank picture is the Hpa tank and the second one is the CO2 tank. Hopefully I'll know more once the parts come to make the tank tester.

I would file that sear, it's a little rounded. and flip the bolt over if the other side looks any better.

I don't think either of those is your problem though. I still think this is an air problem, either pressure or flow

That's a good idea. I can do that. I agree that's probably not the problem though since it hangs on and engages fine when the CO2 tank is connected. I think you're right and pressure or flow with the HPA tank is the most likely culprit. I'll post what I find when the stuff comes on Thursday to make the tank pressure tester.

I got a little busy and didn't have time to give an update, but I think I got the HPA tank working properly with my gun now. I got the stuff to put together the pressure tester and my HPA tank output pressure is almost exactly 800psi. The old CO2 tank measured about 850psi, so not too much different. In the end though what seems to have worked was that I actually had to tighten the little Allen key pin in my asa so it was protruding even less than originally. Then my tank was able to screw in further and much tighter. Now after I shoot it once, the tank isn't trying to come sightly unscrewed and losing pressure. Also maybe with everything set like this, the airflow might be better since the gun seems to cycle properly every time now too. Also, I found the auto trigger Allen screw needed to be adjusted a bit since the auto trigger was causing the seer to slip off the bolt too early when the trigger was continuously held down while pumping. So that was causing a little confusion as well. Thanks everyone for all the tips. It's been fun figuring this thing out.
