Anyone ever revived a dead E2 Eblade board screen?

Would replacing the capacitor do anything or is the screen gone for good when it dies? Is there any sort of replacement option all these years later that isn’t a sci fi?

If the screens dead it's dead. You might be able to solder in a new one from something else but I don't know the direct replacement. Older egos run into the same issue

Other than sci-fi.... There is also scenario deams and tadao, but the tadao equally has screen death issues

If it's just the screen you can use blind. You would need to keep a manual handy to navigate the settings and hope they were input correctly. Tim who was repairing these screens can no longer get the replacement parts.
