I am absolutely not one to spit in the face of saftey, and I understand your concern. However, this is a delrin sleeve, not a full delrin piece like on the front of some cocker bolts. I just weighed it and it was 3 grams where a paintball is 4 grams. I understand a paintball would break, but I am not sure this sleeve has the mass to do any damage.

Shoot yourself in the face with it from 10ft away. The main safety point is since you have no paint in the gun, you are more likely to launch the sleeve when you are not wearing protective gear, or you can add yourself to the Darwin awards list....LOL. Knew of a guy locally that played, his nickname was "One Eye Brad".
Maybe try a different LVL7 bolt? Or use a LVL10 bolt with a tight carrier o-ring, makes it very close to a LVL7. My opinion is that the LVL7 bolt is not your problem, your pump kit is. If an ANS bolt works, use that.

Anyone not dryfiring in a safe direction is a candidate for the Darwin awards...

There are no gains to be had with this. Just post WTB Delrin automag bolt you’ll find a superbolt 1 eventually.

but better off using a level ten bolt even with carriers that make it work like a level 7 if that’s your interest.

Is it possible to just swap a lvl 10 bolt for a lvl 7 bolt and it won't have any issues?

No, but you can use a level ten bolt in such a way that it functions identical to a level 7.

really the bolt design is barely different. Tuning them seems weird to read about but in hand you’re just trying different “carriers” till you find one that vents when you want it to.

I used to be a classic valve level 7 guy but now I’ve seen the light and I’m a classic valve level ten guy but with that you gotta get the high pressure reg piston so it’s a really costly Mech gun that shoots slow.
