Seriously, those things are prone to having issues. I fully believe empire designed them to be as cheap as they possibly could to produce with very little concern for the end user.
If you like the platform move to the tm15. Same internals but wrapped in a much more intelligent shell.
Personally I'm not a fan of anything that is a mini inside. I don't like the design. It's fairly temperamental. It should have been designed more like a typical FASOR, should use standard as568 o rings and should not have a hall effects trigger but none of those are true.
I can understand why some people like the mini and axe and even the tm15. The tm7 though, it's that bastard child that's a result of a drunken late night fling in a Wendy's bathroom that is now barely holding on to his job at the local bowling alley that he has held for the last 8 years. The local community college reluctantly accepted him and he is struggling with English 101 because he thinks words like "yeet" are acceptable in term papers.

Remember, the ion sold like candy before Halloween, that didn't make it good
The tm7 filled a nich when it came out, players could not afford the dye dam or defender and it was a milsim marker that was not a blowback. As far as I remember at the time, it was the cheapest non blowback milsim marker. So all those players with kitted out A-5s that wanted to move to something better were moths to the flame
I used to own a mini for personal use, sold it within 2 years of buying. Since then I've owned a handful of minis and axes, a tm7 and a tm15 all for purposes of flipping but I always go through any marker I get in. The 7 is easily the worst to do anything on out of that group.

Unfortunately there's not too much you can do I do think the tech t mrt bolts are a worthwhile upgrade as they are not too expensive and do make a noticeable difference in shot quality I still have to say the best upgrade would be to move to a tm15 if you are dedicated to the platform, if the milsim aspect is not important move to the axe as it is much more user friendly
If the milsim aspect is important but the platform is not maybe look at an emf

Im a total sucker for the tm15. Ive had qnd sold one a few times. I bought this one and pimped it out then I just pull it out from time to time.
Pot scrubbers glued into the internal baffles.
32 degrees nightstick
Ape board
Flasc single trigger
Its quiet as can be and the bolt out back design is far superior to the tm7.1 Photo
