Tippmann SL-68 Cup Seals...can anyone make them?

I am willing to pay for 100 of them to keep my Paintball Club's rental fleet alive.

If it was just a hand full I could offer some help in making them. Are the SL68 cup seals pressed into the tube like the SL682?

      Do you have the dimensions?

Maybe Doc would be willing to take this on for 100pcs

I only need a few immediately for ones that are down, 100 is a dream (stock pile mentality, sorry).
SL-68 and SL-68 II cup seals are identical, a tube of plastic (material unknown...ANYONE KNOW WHAT MATERIAL IS??!!) then 'shaped' into a cup seal.
I would be obliged for THAT piece of info!!

          Blessings All,
          Roland

              I can take measurements.

My valve body was bent from the retention screws being over tightened many years ago. I think I have a 3d printed seal in there now. This is an early SL seal. Sounds like the later ones were a little different.

Even with co2, the original was/became too hard.

Looking at it, I'm starting to remember why I converted mine to a Nelson power tube. I think I got that screw out, but not the seal. I also don't see how the original seal can be any amount flexible while sealing against the screw in the center of it. I think I started with a random no4 Nelson tube, but it let me cover the end like a regular poppet.

I'll try to get it apart this weekend.

ID:	429029 Red loctite on the screw. Seal is very hard, which led to leaks, which led to valve fiddling, misalignment, and crushing. The valve body and power tube steel is quite soft.

I'll draw up a model of the seal. Being softer might require a metal sleeve to keep it from expanding over that little lip on the power tube.

Do yours look like this? I can send you this for testing (seal and ring). It's possible the seal will work without the ring, so I can send a few seals.

I've used this filament on a12g Piranha setup for a while now, but it doesn't have that open back. I'm not concerned much about the seal face as much as the seal around the tube.

The seal goes on first with the chamfer facing toward the back, then start the ring over the chamfer and finish pushing the ring in place with the screw. The screw needs at least blue loctite as a sealant to prevent leaks through those threads.

The ring is 3/8" id k&s brass. My sl valve doesn't use the old power tube.

I guess you could also sell me a stock sl to work on.

If you go on ebay and search for reg seats, you'll find people who 3d print/cut all sorts of old reg seats. I'd ask them if they can make you your cup seal. (I was searching for a WGP reg seat and found a guy that way.)
