Was there ever a Pre2k made in center feed?

I’m looking for a pre 2k slab body but can’t seem to find a center feed. Is that something that came later on in paintball?

I’m looking to build a SC Sniper and I need the smaller lower tube channels for efficiency tuning reasons.

We’re the early pre2k only available in Right/ Left feed?

No, they were available, just scarce. I had a raw VF Mini body at one point, pre2k - I ran a CCM kit on it.

They did make them in pre2k, but they are generally harder to find and used for custom projects.... you could have someone make a devolumizer that would reduce the volume in the 2k+ chamber.

That’s a possibility any experience doing that? I got a few custom cocker body’s already too like my LNT Ridgeback body.

I think the 98 and 99 STO bodies are pre-2k.

There's two types of pre2k centerfeed blanks. Ones made exclusively for bob long that have a shorter feed then after that contract expired the standard higher feed ones.

Both now would be considered quite rare....last pre2k cf body I sold was around 250. Cheapest way to get them are the gen x bodys.

I plan to machine the feed off anyway so I guess it really don’t matter.

Going to be about 1/3 the cost to get a post 2k and devolumize it

Probably even less because I already have a 2k+ body in a box along with various pump kits and frames. I guess I should try lowering the volume on a 2k+ first before I suppose. Actually I could just attempt to devolumize my J6 that’s already got a super cool stick feed.

You could do a Mozak offset feed mod on a pre2k body.

Problem is I aim down the side so I have to re train my eye to look over the top. Im set in my ways and I aim all my markers the same way. I need to be able to get behind it so no back bottle and look down the outside edge to aim. So no left right or power feeds.

Actually may have found a solution with most of the work already done.

This is a true slab side pre-2k center feed. ^this body is rare.

I think a meteor would be the easiest route. It’s already milled for empire and the red tube is pre-2k ish dimensions. Expansion would happen at the spring perch to valve face.
