What tool do I need to use to remove the Puncture pin assembly on a phantom?

Or the puncture adapter assembly for the bucket changer?

I used my widest flathead and it’s still not wide enough and the tapered edges on my widest flathead make it so the screwdriver doesn’t fit all the way in. I will keep trying different sizes until one fits.Comment

I do have a specific too designed to remove these. I forget who made it. However the best way is to get a cheap harbor freight wide regulator screw driver and notch the center out with a grinder to clear the piercing pin.Comment

Does anyone know why the 12g might not actually seal the valve after a few shots? Using a back bottle ASA and after a few shots the gun just burps when I cock it. Replaced the cup seal, puncture pin seal and oring. I’m using silver springs for both the valve and main spring.Last edited by Shmack; 09-11-2023, 04:54 PM.Comment

Just out of curiosity... What brand 12g are you using? This is very odd indeed. This is still, the same phantom, that is working fine on HPA, right? And still venting a mostly full cartridge, if you dump the burping 12g?
When you say "back bottle ASA", that's not the "bottom line ASA" that comes with the 2.0 frame, right? You mean this one, correct?
I only asked these questions because this is such an odd issue with the 12g.Comment

Ok, so the marker will still cock and then burps when the trigger is pulled, correct? Or does it burp when you go to cock it(pull the pump backwards)?

Can you post a video of what it’s doing?
This one has me stumped. It’s doing the same thing with a back bottle valve body. It works on HPA but not on 12g it’s so odd.

What handle are you running?
Are you sure you have the pump arm seated in its proper spot? Aka not the Teflon TPC grub screw lock location. Body screws are tight? Valve is pushed fully forward against the body?
So this marker didn’t all of a sudden stop working. Since you got it it’s been giving you issues. (Maybe a worn sear) how old is it?
Put your TPC to flush and rotate it in 1.5 turns. With the stock silver springs that should put you right around 280fps on 12g.

I’m running the stock over barrel pump handle. And I think it’s seated correctly since it works with hpa. The gun is brand new and worked for maybe 100 shots and then it started giving me issues. I did notice that the bolt on this phantom does NOT have the TPC grub screw location. Just the hole for the pump arm to go into. I’ll try to post the most in depth video I can. New seals were installed and stock springs were replaced as wellComment
