Help with Boo Yah Mag Frame

A while back a friend gave me a boo yah mag frame. I just got a powerex 9.6v battery, 250 mah. I put it all together with an emag valve with a .750 and .745 on/off pin. The darn thing only shoots about every third shot. The solenoid clicks each time. But the solenoid doesn't appear to reset each time either. I can only get it to shoot 1/3 of the time I pull the trigger when the marker is pointed down. (This appears to help the noid reset.)

I don't know if the problem is the sear, the on/off pin not being long enough, the battery, or the noid or perhaps capacitor.

As to the battery, I initially thought it might have a low charge. The boo yah frame appears to show it not being at full charge. But when I went to hook it up to my charger, I noticed the battery was already at 10.5 v. I confirmed this with a multimeter.

Here is an example of the noid not resetting. It stays activated, pushing the sear back. It won't reset unless I point the marker downward.

Here is a picture of the sear. This is what came with the boo yah.

Here is a picture of everything correct. The noid is reset and the sear appears to be in place. BUT, sometimes the sear does not come back to the correct position, despite the solenoid resetting properly.

Here is a picture of the battery display. The battery is at 10.5v.

It'd be nice to get this thing working again. It'd also be nice to figure out what the proper charger is for the trigger frame, since my NIMH charging set up is pretty ghetto. It's a tenergy charger with some alligator clips making the connection. Please help if you can.

Maybe the noid could be adjusted a bit more marker-forward? I think the one I installed years ago had something similar, and I got it working without replacing anything. I think I just moved the solenoid a bit.

You mean closer to the shooty end?

Yes. The clapper may not be getting the full strength of the magnetic field when it's energized, and not tripping the sear as a result.

Nope, Jordan. This emag valve has had tens of thousands of shots through it with those o rings.

Number six, how do I move the solenoid? It seems pretty well stuck in place.

There should be a couple of set screws going through that silver cage, holding it in place.

What about the capacitor? I know that is an issue on the ecockers.

Well, before I start messing with my soldering iron - which is a sure way for me to destroy something - are there other things I can test first? Is the sear correct?
