Single hot guys - how do you carry your balls?

Throw a handful loosely in your dump pouch? Or maybe you keep sampling from a 10rd tube? Just curious how people do it

The chalk bag was pioneered by our original single shotters and it has worked well for me.

Chalk bag is what I figured would work best. I haven't played single shot since I bought mine, but topo designs are nice bags.

I use a rock climbing chalk bag (black diamond tall chalk bag).
Handmade also make some really nice one (he had two size available at Slim, one small one that would work well and a bigger one that can also be used as a dump pouch)

My favorite is slitted tubes. Cut a hole in the tube at the bottom so there are two fingers that hold the paint. When I go first strikes, I use Dukie Pez dispensers.

You’re basically just cutting a notch out of the very bottom of a 10 round tube so you can pinch the ball between your thumb and index finger to pull it from the bottom. You want enough “curve” left on the bottom of the 10 round to capture the ball and hold it in place.

I run a Tacticool dump pouch with some microfiber in the bottom. Get the off Amazon for under $10. They only last about a year though (I do toss them in my washing machine to clean them though. They’re big enough to fit my hand but not huge.

Who was it who made the "Pez" dispensers for paintball, Dukie? If I was to go down to single shot (not likely) I would want to do something like that.

I worked with BLachance75 in a design to reproduce something similar out of brass. shooter311 was kind enough to print me some followers to help out.

I made a few that worked, but found that a pouch was a lot easier and faster for me.

That is pretty cool, mounted on the marker where your cocking hand can access a ball quickly.

That was actually the plan. I’ll send you the info for how I made it (supply list). They’re super simple. We did run into a tolerance issue though. We were using 0.686 ID brass, but one round was perfect and the other was a little too tight, you’ll want to find something closer to 0.69 ID

I had it set up a little different for FSR so you could “roll” them out with your thumb.

I found that I liked the dump pouch much better, I like having 3 or 4 extra rounds in my hand for fast follow-up shots and abandoned the pez dispenser idea

I tried the Pez style. But ended up liking the pouch style better as well. Having the ability to grab a few at a time for a quick follow up shot made for an efficient setup. That and off setting my single shot feed hole a lil for my non dominant hand made the most improvement in handling.
