    Shocker RSX Help

Still playing with Jimmydee’s pink Shocker RSX. Fixed the leak, but not the damn thing only shoots the first shot nicely and then just keeps stuff balls down the barrel, like it’s not getting enough air after the first shot. Does the same thing if I hand load as well. First shot is great, second shot just rolls the ball forward into the barrel and that’s it. I can blow the ball through the barrel, so not a bore issue.

You didn't overlube it did you, if I remember correctly the older shockers were picky about lube they were prone to bolt stick and drop off, maybe the dwell, did you rebuild or lube the regulator, maybe something funky with the tank your using and the on/off

Rebuild and relubed. I’ll clean the bolt off a bit more but I had used minimal lube.

Damn electros always need fresh batteries… no, I’ll see if I can find a new 9v and see if that fixes things.

Yeah I feel your pain, my UL slg needs a full name brand battery or it won't shoot at all

Sounds like maybe your hpr isn't recharging? Maybe pull it apart and make sure it's all as it should be?

Other thing that comes to mind is the bolt speed adjuster. If you buried that it may be hanging onto air after the first shot?

For those playing along at home, I adjusted the bolt speed and seemed to have fixed my issue. It’s the Allan key on the front of the trigger frame. Counter-clockwise to increase the speed. Backed it out and no issues on semi-auto.
