    What is the
difference between an Angry 3 way and a STO 3 way?

Which era sto? 1st Gen ones were just aluminum stock brass ones. Modern Sto from 99 and newer for like angry clones made out of aluminum.

holes are a lot closer together on the angry, very similar to a hollow point or a kapp 3way.

Yeah, the angry 3way used the smaller barbs and a different spool with o-rings spaced clsoer together. The STO is the same as the one piece brass 3ways, just aluminum.

belsales took stock WGP switch blanks and machined the barbs closer with a 2-oring shaft - these originally came in brass, but most of them were aluminum with stainless shaft.
STO switches were chrome plated with the normal barb spacing - I have a WGP brochure talking about how the chrome is premium and lowers the friction... etc.
99 STO swiches had the angry style barbs and spacing with a brass shaft.

it's easy to confuse 99 STO and angry switches, there are subtle differences. At first glance some KAPP also look like them, but kapp always had the set screw in the front
