Talk me out of the T4E HDX

The HDX has the removable barrel tip and the barrel is also removable.

What's required to remove the barrel?

Forgive this Old Caveman for not knowing how to attach a link. Youtube has several very good complete disassembly videos. The barrel tip is threaded but not the base. Meaning some creative and industrious individuals with the appropriate skill sets, access to materials and lightly tethered to sanity could replace the barrel completely with something more impressive. Maybe even a freak kit?

I'm kind of surprised that "tinkering" with your marker would be a negative thing on MCB. Isn't that the foundation of this community.

There's tinkering, and then there's fixing problem from the factory. I think this thing easily falls into the second category
