I have had packages leave the local post office then not show up at the next facility until over a week later. I am using UPS as much as I can lately. For most packages it is cheaper as well as faster with reliable tracking info.

      is overnight still overnight lol

i cant imagine what its like over there (at any of them).

when we had ventilators delivered to the hospital i work at, yours truly had to un box, set up, test, inventory, and log all of them. And that was just me. my 4 co-workers all got pulled to other covid related priorities. Increasing bed capacity means increasing everything else as well; all the monitors, the networking, the supplies, and everything else. All that stuff has to come in, be inspected, inventoried, tracked, and distributed / setup. our department was 3 months behind on preventative maintenance. Some nurses would complain that the batteries in the hand held thermometers were STILL not changed; when there were so many other larger things going on.

it was insane. So i definitely feel for all the delivery services right now.

No, overnight Express is a one day service now. That's a whole different ballgame when it comes to the line of accountability.

Also y'all don't forget you can insure your packages and mail up to 5000 bucks. Registered mail up to 50k. Photograph how well you pack stuff, keep receipts, and use it to your advantage.
