They have been known to freeze up if shot too fast. There is not much room for the CO2 to come up to temperature.Comment

I love mine! Still not leaking, but if you fire fast you have to manually reset the bolt by removing the top and using a finger to pull the bolt back.Comment

My account was so old I forgot my login info and apparently, I had a different Email back then. Seeing my own article remembered years later is kind of amazing.
I am pretty sure most of the DSDS and Sidekicks I touch are now in RuleOfSines collection actually. The one with the tethered cap was modified for me by Smiley about 10 years ago now. The valve was modified to take Automag seals and the center brass pin was polished to a near mirror finish with all the hard edges taken off so it would stop shredding o-rings and actually seal after each shot.
I would love to get one again and clean one up. My catch and release program hopefully put a few working ones back into players hands. It's been so long since I played. Glad to see ya'll keeping them alive.Comment
