    Oddly enough the material that worked the best for removing the sting was a stiff new Carhartt jacket. Good old duck canvas. The stiffer material spreads out the impact over a larger area, yet lets you feel it and doesn't seem to prevent breaks.

    I would love to see a paintball shirt (not necessarily a "jersey", I ain't playing soccer out there) with duck canvas in the usually protected places. Shoulders, forearms, etc.

      You just described a “Renagade” I like 12oz bull denim but it takes a bit to break in. After a few years of use they loosen up a bit.
