Out of curiosity, does anyone have any insight/experience with their ‘Friday Night Mech Fights’ recurring event? Thinking about going up soon for it but not sure what the typical turnout is like. Appreciate any feedback anyone has.
I usually go, but have had to skip the last 2 weeks. It's normally between 20-35 guys. More or less regulars. You'll even get a couple of games in with the crew. The games are fast paced, well played and overall good pick-up paintball. The food's good and according to my information the first beer at the bar was poured last night. Walk on play starts at 1 and "mech night" starts at 3. If you show up at 1 everyone is basically playing mech.
I actually think its my favorite day to play paintball, state wide. no - BYOP, though. its not like AG on monday and thursday.
Would anyone be interested in camping for Roach's game? Been looking at campgrounds and there are some good possibilities within a half hour of the field. Thinking about it because it is over a 2hr drive for me. Most campgrounds allow up to four adults per site.
Still headed up this Sunday, might rain but hopefully not too bad.
They are camping at the field, man. It's just opening back up. I plan on playing tomorrow afternoon, hopefully I can get you some information.
EDIT: 5:53pm, EST. I didn't make the field due to losing a tire on the car to a #16 common hand banger. You could call and ask about the camping situation, or even maybe post up on the Facehooker players group.
Just to confirm, anyone coming to Roach's Stock Class game can camp if they choose. Our new bar will be finished this weekend. Its been open doing what it's suppose to do (serve beer), but it hasn't been "finished". Will post some pics and a video for all to see next week.
Hey everyone just to be clear this isn’t a strict SC event. It’s a stick-fed pump game. I don’t want to say modified stock class or Slim will have a stroke 😙
