Looks like thunderstorms sat afternoon but should clear out for the evening. If it rains I'll probably show up around 5ish when rain slows down to start setting up. If the forecast changes, I might play sat afternoon.
I'll have my coleman stove with me to make morning coffee. Gonna bring firewood, i have plenty. It's hardwood so good for cooking.

That is what I found with this Scenario. There wasn't a mission or story line or anything. It was just go head to head and if you see an object grab it and bring it back to base. Plus I don't think it was run to well, the team I was on was insanely outnumbered and I don't think we got a single point all day, while the other team just dominated everything. So even though we were the attacking team we were pinned down at our base and as soon as we stepped out we would get lit up. Just not enjoyable for me. The fields seemed awesome (what little I saw of them, I barely left our base both attacking and defending) so I am excited to go back for this pump game and play on all the fields. -
That was not a good game unfortunately. We have a format we utilize that we've spent 12+ years developing and it works very well. That one was, let's call it "experimental" and it just didn't work for many reasons. You will get to see the entire facility this time we promise :-) -
It is good to know that was not a typical game. I'll let my buddies I brought down know, they swore off making the drive down after that game. I'll see what I can do to convince them to try another. Is the Mandalorian 2 this fall going to be in the tried and tested format, or similar to last years?

Weather Forecast for the next 36 hours: Humid and nasty this morning, with a cold front pushing through from Canada (thank you Maple Syrup friends) mid day, touching off scattered thunderstorms. After the front pushes through anticipate Low humidity, with temperatures dropping into the high 50's lower 60's under clear skies for the Campers. Tomorrow dawns Bright and sunny, leading a day with dew points in the 50's and high temperatures in the low to mid 70's.

Well if no one else from here is going to camp I'll just drive up tomorrow AM. Was debating playing afternoon session today but too humid.
Might just work on finishing living room floor install today, have furniture being delivered next week.Comment
