[Hogan’s Alley] Pump Up The Ridge

Looks like the rain is going to hold off until later afternoon. At which point I hope we’ll all be eating and drinking at the restaurant.
Arrive at 930 and we’ll get games started at 10am. (Ish)

I do believe we have a few people who will need full set ups. (I only have one confirmed with me, but I thought I read others somewhere) If people could bring extra gear, hopefully we can convert some more people to our little niche section of the game.

I believe the parking situation is the same as last time, but you can get everything you need at the field now, instead of the further building. (Did I get that right, ChuckLove?)


Beyond that, I wasn’t really planning on hosting two games this year (and I’m sorry I helped flood this year’s calendar), but a clerical error on my part has led us to more paintball. Haha.
With that said I think we’re just going to have a casual day of pump paintball in CT! I have no theme, no special games planned, just good ol’ fashioned pump ball.

I hope everyone who RSVP’d can make it, I hope everyone on the fence decides to come by, and I hope all of you bailing to go play a scenario game elsewhere stub your toe first thing tomorrow.

Yes parking is the same as last year. The town approved the permits for a new road that lead down to the field but a neighbor complained and got the state involved. Check in and paint is now available in the main staging area. No need to check in at the ski/bike check in any longer.

Welp, I managed to pull a muscle in my left ass cheek today at the end of the world day and will no longer be attending. I hope you guys have lots of fun, it looks like it's going to be an awesome event!

Sitting in my truck in the parking lot watching the rain that held out for us until the very last moment.
Most of you are still driving home, but I just wanted to thank every one who came through, especially those who traveled.

I don’t have a final head count yet but it was definitely over 30. I counted 31 players on barrels and a chaotic 20+ on air ball as we #embracedthechaos… the riot way!

My personal feelings are that the pump calendar is too crowded with events now and I don’t want to add to the crowding more than necessary. I do, however, want to host Pistols Only and a CT game… so, I’m going to go back to the drawing board to figure out the best of both worlds without adding to the paintball burnout… but for now…


I’ll see everyone in two weeks at Slim’s and thank you again for an amazing day of balling! Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did!
