Why doesn't anyone use tank covers, anymore?

Pros don't use them because it's better to wipe a slick surface.

Normal people don't use them because pros don't

But a lot of people use them. I do.

I am also rejoining the community after 15ish years away and yeah no one has tank covers any more. They all use tape or the rubber undies. not really sure how I feel about this change.

Ive gone back and forth between old nxe tank covers and hockey tape over the years.

I'd run a cover on my 13ci tanks if I could find one. Tape works well enough though.
