I had a lot of fun. I shot close to 1000 rds with my Stock Class Phantom on Saturday. Smoked like 5 of the weakest J's ever rolled and a butt ton of beer. The turnout was noticeably small with most of the Calif bunch being absent yet again. But we are looking forward to next year and are working on building a tank for the Spartans! Remember to go blue next year, better dead than red.

When Levirate and I got home, we counted his welts. 36 clearly distinct welts on his upper body, about a third of them were oozing. That boy is absolutely nuts - he wore a wife beater and screamed “more pain!” as he rushed the front line over and over.

Glad the weather held, but yeah this year felt so empty - both player and vendor numbers were way down. Still plenty of fun.

I want to go again. I do hope they find ways to better balance the game and attract more vendors & players. And move it out a weekend to avoid rain. But I’m still game.

Game balance is always an issue... Considering how many years they have been running it, they do the best they can. As to event scheduling, I believe they are limited to the 1st weekend in May due to conflict with other events.

Fun was had. As others said, there was a noticeable lack of players and vendors. I shot a little over 3 cases of paint and the alaska group combined shot a ridiculous amount. Like somewhere north of 30 cases and maybe 1k first strikes.. Great deals at the swap meet and really had to restrain myself otherwise I'd be buying yet more luggage. I did buy a polished pgp though, it couldn't be helped.

Wasn’t sure how to post this but I’ll just go ahead and- I had two forest green folding chairs that disappeared on Sunday. Last year one disappeared. Did anyone here take them home? I thought it was a fluke last year but now I’m not really sure, and I’m honestly kinda disappointed.

it’s not that they were valuable or anything, it’s more that someone would just take the chairs.

Aww man thats a bummer to hear, I'll triple check my stuff to make sure it wasn't me. More than likely it was everyone jumbling up all the stuff, don't think anyone in our crew is deliberately malicious.
