The Canadian Invasion: Hell Under Siege - Magfed Only

I'm always interested in different scenario style games but don't get me wrong, this is not my style of play
I've never seen a game with this many rules.
Also, charging for the tank/helicopter/armored vehicle stuff?
I could understand if you were flying me around in an actual helicopter but just simulating? Idk, just feels wrong to me if the goal is to grow this game.
Just my .02, not like I care, I do hope everyone going has fun

Mag fed people really want to be their own class of paintball for some reason. They want everyone else OUT and they have a very regimented system to detail it. Obviously they have been overshot, hence mandating the limited paint play that magfed provides but why ban stock? Why? Because it doesn’t look like imaginary military crap. There is no other possible reason. They specifically call out the least capable class as banned.
Historically mag fed only days at Hell Survivors have had hilariously low turnout. That’s a huge equipment eligibility matrix there for like 14 people to pay attention to.
The “no gun hits rule” is one I’ve never heard of and makes no sense but I’m not surprised it was developed. It must be very difficult to clean paint out of all the tacticool nonsense clamped and strapped onto these guns.

Stock class is not allowed. Slingshots are allowed, uncapped full auto is allowed, but stock is not allowed.
Friendly fire is allowed, specifically. What does that mean? What would it mean to ban friendly fire?
No woodsball or tournament markers…what is that? I genuinely don’t know enough about paintball to enforce a rule like that. BTW, Hell Survivors exists almost entirely in the woods so this is double plus weird.

Anyone notice how they specifically say the dfender is allowed but also no pods? How are you supposed to reload it? They never said I couldn't use a paint caddy and uncapped full auto is allowed.
Chronoing to 300 is a bad idea. It works fine for tournament speedball because they Chrono right before every game and are only playing for a few minutes. An all day woodsball event? No, there's no way anyone's marker will fluctuate, right up to 300 go for it you will be fine!
As for marker hits not counting, I've seen it before on a few local fields. In general it keeps new players on the field longer. Therefore using more paint. I had one field that said new players marker hits don't count. Experienced players, marker hits count. I thought it was a good way to give the new guys a little boost. As for this game though. It just seems like it would encourage blind firing. (Maybe that's why friendly fire doesn't count?)
