    Michigan Monster Game 2025 (MMG2025) - July 24-27h (thu-sun) 2025

New owners continue the Monster Game, now "Monster Themed" with Dracula (Red) vs Frankenstein (Green), though the rules still say red vs yellow, registration is "Drac vs Frank".

Still BYOP including first strikes, still full-auto allowed as far as I know

7/24 - Thursday - "Shields" - 5-8pm, registration opens at 3pm (Shields allowed, doesn't say anything about magfed only)
    7/25 - Friday - "Armageddon" - 5-8pm, registration opens at 3pm
7/26 - Saturday - 9am-5pm game, break for lunch from 1-2pm, registration opens at 7am. (Same as last year)
7/27 - Sunday - 9am-2pm, then 3-3:30pm final battle, 7am opening. (Same as last year)

No i don't know what "shields" and "armageddon" mean, someone else can post it up they know.

    https://www.hellsurvivors.com/big-games

$60 before July, $70 until week of, $80 at the gate.

$35 GI Custom/$55 "deathball" if you buy paint today, $40/$65 if you do it by July 7th, and $47/$75 at the event, OR BYOP.

Renegades will be there in some form for at least the weekend again.

Last year was mostly organized minus the a minor complaint about if they were going to honor the paint chips from the past (no, and then yes at the last minute). Play was good, and the field is a great woods field. "final battle" is optional, last year it felt like we've hit critical mass of people being too large. If you are debating for some reason, just show up, you'll have a good time.

Renegades are playing "Frankenstein" this year. Which appears to be green. Which doesn't appear to be red or yellow from the past years.....

We'll be there! Is there some sort of chant for Green since you can't be mellow anymore?

Has anyone figured out whether the Thursday or Friday games are magfed-only?

What is the average number of players for this event each year? IoN is my usual go to but this seems like it would be a nice change of pace.
Do hard things for fun. Being soft is for sissies. Being an asshole is easy, thats why everyone is one. Being stand up us hard. Be a hard bastard but be respectful.

Large enough to be a large game. Not as large as it once was, my summer conservative number would be 500+ with my more optimistic 800-1000. Will let others chime in

300 to 500 is the perfect amount of peeps I think.

I would classify the "Final battle" as optional with the numbers they had last year. But the rest of the field is well worth coming down and playing, feel free to join green/frankenstein and hang out.

(Quick edit, the final battle had too many players for the size last year, that was my problem, the rest of the game that was not an issue)

I’ve never been a big fan of the final battle spray-n-pray long ball paint dump competition. But the rest of the weekend is always a good time.

Confirmed, all four days, no restrictions on hoppers/magfed/pump/etc. Just shields available for use on thursday, and some collection game on friday:

That's a little disappointing. Having a magfed-only game on Friday was a real attraction for me.
