My brother gave me a bunch of random paintball parts and in with it was this. What exactly do I have and what would it take to get up and running? There is some obvious rust on the bolt

a few hour soak in Vinegar, and some 0000 steel wool, a good rinse, ( dunk in 99% ISO to removal all water, and air dry) then a polish, and some oiling will clean that bolt up for you, Also your brother is Awesome, That is a SWEEET MagLast edited by Heavy_D; 07-09-2025, 03:14 PM.-Team Silver Creek United- -
You have a very nice brother. I’m not up to date on values but don’t let anyone try to buy it from you for cheap.Comment

XMT Ripper body and rail, deadly winds carbon fiber foregrip, "xvalve" lasered xvalve with level 10 bolt, Intelliframe trigger frame, looks like a cp feedneck and a smart parts on off Asa and smartparts drop. The rail looks to be raw, I'd recommend you getting it anodized, your brother had good taste. Prolly around 1000-1500$ in parts. To get it running you can clean the bolt up and drop some oil in the Asa and see if it seals and or fires, more than likely an oring kit will get it up and runningComment

I'll probably keep the frame since both Luke and AGD sell a trigger I'm looking for. That 90° Angle frame is nice though -
Lukes vert frames are nice, Conrad Customs also offers a nice double trigger that I want, and probably will use on my ripper build https://www.conradcustoms.net/shop

For sure get that rail anod, any place can do a simple gloss black or gloss red if you want to do a black red combo.Comment

I have it broken down. It's in rough shape. Not sure what has happened to it but the firing chamber has something all in it. Where the bolt spring sits looks corroded. There is a washer and some sort of retaining ring where the spring sits too. I think I can replace that.
The orings in the valve look okay. The valve at the bottom feels a bit "gritty" but I'm think it just needs cleaned.
The shaft the bolt rides on has some pretty deep scratches. I don't think that will effect how it works.
I'm going to get a soft bottle brush and see what I can scrub out of the body. It might just be old paint.
