Grasping here, but try an entirely different back half, including reg seat holder, from a different valve. Since the reg pin assembly interfaces with those parts, perhaps its
something back there - reg seat holder, reg piston, reg springs, or just the back half of the valve.

But yeah, might be time to send it back to AGD.

      By all means, grasp!

Funny enough I took everything apart and inspected it. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Even with the velocity adjuster ALL the way out and then screwing it back in, still had the leak.

I hope this is a one off issue. Would be a MAJOR bummer if they got bad batch of machining. That ruined a run of Nummech frames.

They same guys have been making these valves for many years without any bad ones that I know of. It could be a bad batch of orings. I have a bunch of reg pin orings here that I got from a different supplier a while back. All of them seem to be correct. I am curious about the fit of the orings you currently have. I'll send you a few of these known good orings to try before sending it back. Send me your name and address. tunaman5@verizon.net

The orings are my thought too. I’ve never had bad AGD hardware, ever.

Seems weird they’re bad between my assemblies and XValve parts kits. I’ll drop you an email.

It could also be your choice of lubricant: try oil instead of Astroglide. Made a world of difference for me.

I am suffering from the same issue right now. Brand new X-Valve! Gonna try a couple more o-rings I guess!

And just like that problem solved. FOD in the pocket for the reg pin. Swabbed it clean, lubed it up - back in business!

Same issue here, brand new x valve. Checked the o-rings, oiled, etc. didn't mess too much with the back half or so. I'm brand new to Automags...what is meant by the pocket for the reg pin? Would like to try that before getting too carried away.
