Bob Long Signature Series - original parts check

Just scooped this beaut up. 19NNN serial number, clean.

Question for the experts - what on here clearly ISNT original & which barrel is original if either one?

I believe brass/palmers is legit, frame obviously, and they surely didn't change block if they didn't change pneus.... thinking about bolt, barrel, reg in particular. I'm guessing the AA barrel may be the orig.

Also anyone recognize the barrel currently mounted? It's not SS, kind of has a lapco/PMI vibe to it

All of the parts are within the period for sure. Usually the Bob Long Signature cockers came with a Bob Long Long Shot barrel. The pneumatics were always stock, so the Rock is an upgrade. Also seems to be missing the matching shroud, which was standard for these.

Freak bore the AA and run it as is. Nice piece.

EDIT: Wanted to add, that the bolt is not original, they had Bob Long Cyclone bolts. Also I don't think they came with a reg, but that early Unireg is perfect.
    Velcor will save us...

      For that era......

You're missing the match annoed shroud, there should be an expansion chamber not a reg.....and technically the bolt is wrong.

The taso power barrel isn't stock, but also not wrong because bob did use those

Serial numbers aren't always consecutive to years made and body type fyi....

I have a 2k right feed with a serial number that by the list many take for gospel puts it made in 97.... And a few pre 2k centerfeed with serial numbers putting it made in 2004

Ecapnation I’ve been curious about this for a long time. I’ve seen “anomaly” body styles and SN. Do you think these are forgotten/stored blanks milled later?

        @latches109

According to Bud bodies were all made in huge runs from extruded blanks they would machine them with our detent, feed holes, or pump arm slots in the case of pre 2k's and when needed they would run several thousand in a clip. The serial numbers were the last thing done prior to Anno and done monthly per orders they needed that month.

The sniper 3 and mini cockers had different serial numbers because different stamping fixture was needed to accept the smaller bodies.

So when they still were selling 98 bodied snipers when they started rolling out 2k body's there was some overlap.

Then there's blanks for aftermarket millhouses they could order whatever and it was numbered consecutively.

Then there's no serial number bodies.......those are fascinating because they didn't track bodies till q serial number was assigned to it so they were usually Jeff Orr machined tinker projects, sold out of the back door or given to sponsored players.

I’m no help here, but I’ve been passively looking for one of these for years! Awesome snag!
