Are they the same specs as Spyder valves?

In terms of OD yes. Not sure on the length. It doesn't really really matter for a slump, but it might be too long/short for a blowback and interfere with bolt travel.

Did you happen to try one in a KP? Has anyone here tried one? What was the brand and what were the results?

I have a Palmer's one in my KP2 right now. It fits nicely but I have yet to put air to it. It should work fine unless the tolerances are off. The only thing I'm leery about is that it's a brass valve getting smacked by a steel hammer.

I'm willing to bet that the majority of Cockers have brass valves being smacked by steel or steel-face hammers. Not an issue I ever recall coming across.

Yes, but the majority of cockers have 9/16ths valves and have the valve retaining screw between the hammer and valve body. I bought this Palmer's valve used and it's showing signs of the bottom set screw breaking through the wall of the blind hole into the slot for the rear valve oring.

Teachin' me to stay in my lane: didn't know about the valve retention method in the 11/16 valves. Cool. Cheers!

Just means you need to pick up a proper pump one day and ditch the broken Spyder. πŸ™‚
And God turned to Gabriel and said: β€œI shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

β€œBut Lord,” asked Gabriel, β€œIs this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, β€œJust wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."
