So I made a new ram for autocockers. Actually I just got around to making a design I started thinking about maybe 5 years ago. If anyone was around that long ago you may remember I sold a few rams back then as well but they were much more traditional in design. Anyhow the Issue I had when selling them was installing the oring for the nose of the ram. You know the little tiny one that needs a super long pick and only maybe comes out without too much damage. I would love to show you some pictures but I'm having a hard time getting the new site to accept them so if you would like to see some pics of the internals and such below is a link to a review of from a beta tester about the unit I sent him for review.
Biased on his and others remarks I did end up changing things such as the barb. The new barbs are the same front and back and are all now Nickle plated brass rather than just raw brass. I also slightly changed the brass insert the review units had a 6mm internal hex the production version has 7/32 so you only need one set of allen keys for the whole thing. I also ended up slightly changing the piston to get a better seal on the piston oring. And lastly I changed the bore of the body to have a burnished finish rather than reamed and honed finish.
I thought some of you guys might be interested and might not follow the FB stuff very much. So if you have any questions about it let me know I would love to hear some feedback especially if you were able to get one on the first round.
If your interested https://www.notlamegames.com is the retailer.
