Inception valve stuck in black magic

Just rebuilt the hpr and solenoid on my black magic, figured I’d toss in a new valve, went with the inception hf. Was a little tight getting in and lined up but got it there, didn’t notice any orings binding up. Went to air it up and it’s just puking air down the barrel, tried cocked, hammer removed completely, loosened the valve retaining nut, nothing worked. Decided I’d pull the valve and just check the orings, but I can not for the life of me get the valve to budge. I’m at a loss as how to get it out now.

Assuming you removed the valve retaining screw just take off the front block and push it out the back of the gun with something soft

pull the front block off and push it from the front to the rear.

Ironically enough i just got a message from someone else that is fighting this same issue on their body i just bored. I think the Inception valves are on the top side of the general bore size everyone else is using.

Trbo323 definitely seems like the path I’ll be taking, baffled by how this thing will not move

Ya I might try something with a softer front or with a dimpled face. Hopefully you can save the cup seal.

As others have said a wooden dowel with light tapping would be good to try.

I wonder if a shot of penetrating oil and letting it sit a while would help as well?

If you have a heat gun it might be worth warming up the body to try and expand it a little.

put it in the freezer get it frozen then put in the vice with soft jaws or rubber, hit the lower tube with a heat gun, then take a wooden stick, or chopsticks, and hammer away from the cup seal side. Some lubrication in the lower tube won't hurt either.

Is it a full body or a 2k5 BM? If a 2k5 (midblock) it can only go out the rear.

From his user name it looks like it may be an 05 black magic. I know the 05 black magic were 11/16 valves but not bored 11/16 all the way so phat rat and Lazarus valves won't quite fit. Does anyone know if there are similar issues with the 11/16 inception valve in a 05 black magic and maybe that's why it was leaking and now stuck?
