Looking forward to this new board, I have an mq2 valve that Iād like to tinker with.

There was a time where the mq2s flowed like water back around 2008/2009! I still have 2 in my markers from when they first launched. One of your boards may end up powering my ego-framed, midblocked mini-orracle!
they really should have taken off and become mainstream šComment

The price is what stopped them right, iirc they cost a good penny back in the day. I'm more surprised no one has brought them back as I believe they're just a small linear motor. I have to imagine you can get a decent one that would do the job for $50-70 per unit cost if even that much. I will have to give it a look at some point.

Unfortunately not right now. The prototyping phase has been going smoothly with only one design defect in the boards, you generally always have a few so this is expected. Once we have a few completed boards we still have to do a lot of testing and I'll be reaching out to some folks in the community to see if they would be willing to give an honest review in exchange for a free board.
On the software side the the Android app is nearly done. The iOS app will hopefully go quick as it is mostly the same code and then I'll be shifting to the desktop apps. Ultimately the same app regardless of where you want to run it (Android/iOS/Windows/MacOS/Linux). All of this stuff just takes time but we're getting there.

Do we have any native Spanish speakers that could help me review the app and ensure we're not making any extremely silly mistakes? You just need to be willing to get on Google Meet call and let me walk you through the app and point out where automatic translations have failed me and are saying something poorly/wrong. Currently only aiming to support English and Spanish for mvp but happy to support more languages if there is demand for it!
If this is something you're interested in helping with, shoot me DM so we can connect!Comment

Small update for today, we're still working through the prototype boards and in parallel I'm working on a automating testing of the boards. To ensure we're packaging up a quality product, every unit needs to be validated so this is what I've started whipping up. As you have already guessed, yes, it is called Test Board š.

I'm working on a big update but unlikely to be this week. Also, considering the Saber launched this week, I didn't want to take away anything from its well earned launch. I'm sure everyone has an idea of how difficult it is to do this kind of stuff but being in the trenches of it myself, the Saber deserves its time to shine without distraction.
When I provide the update, I'll be covering the control apps, state of the firmware, and the board progress. As I don't want to leave you hanging totally, I'll leave you with this no context sneak peek and let you speculate.

. Keep up the great work, and kudos on putting the screen in the original orientation, I know I appreciate it.
