    Midget P-block...?

Why can't I find any pictures of Midget cut bodies with a P-block?

Was this not a popular mod for any particular reason?

It seems like it would be easy enough as far as the necessary milling is concerned... cut 7/8" (or whatever it is) off the back of the body.

Notch the top tube however far you want your P-block to extend.

    Build P-block.

    Trim and rethread cooking rod.

Trim the bolt and drill a new hole for the pin.

Seriously, I can't be the only person to think of such a thing. People have done so many crazy configurations with Autocockers, it has to have been done at least once.

Found it. Here is the one and apparently only:

That gun hasn't been midget'd. A midget body would have the body trimmed down to the rear frame screw like this

They're not very popular because it removes a lot of your ability to tune the gun due to the shortened length your hammer travels.

RKJ has one he's been showing off:

You are right, the one in my picture just has an elongated frame... like a built-in snatch grip/beavertail.

      That RKJ one is nice.

Is there a set amount to cut off for the midget modification?

Could one midget a full-body Autococker to take a normal back block and an "Evo" length bolt?

i think the general idea is flush with the back of a "standard" non-built in beavertail frame

would be possible as the back block isnt really a limiting factor. but the pblock lets you get shorter/tighter which is the whole point. evo bolt would still need modified

All depend which bolt and back block you want to use at the end. On an halfblock you can cut all the way to the end of the frame. But on a standard back block setup you need to keep the bolt air port aligned in the body.

Picture of the gun you start with and your parts would help calculate.

It arrives on Monday. An early ANS GenX centerfeed slabside. However, I may just find another WGP body to cut up
