    KP and compatibility

I should be receiving a KP shortly and I am curious if there are any compatible parts from autocockers or other models with more support. Primarily I already want to ditch the double trigger frame for a single. Am I best to find a kpc being parted out or do cocker frames by chance work?

im assuming a spider spring kit is best to tune out the valve fart? What goodies can make this budget pump more gooder?

    thanks

I don't believe cocker frames fit. Other than the barrel I'm not sure there's a ton of compatibility. Spring tuning will probably help the best against farting, especially if it has a reg. Don't hold the pump when you fire if you want to lessen the farting. Otherwise just use a decent barrel and keep it clean. Tech T makes aftermarket bolts for them, which I think would affect sound signature more than performance. I'm a big believer in trying all configurations before making sweeping changes, but if you're itchy to tinker I say go have fun.

11/16 cocker valves fit, the barrels, and thats about it for cockers. Ion/mini threaded feedneck, dovetail asa, spyder detents

I’ll probably play as I receive it initially with maybe the frame that Jcs shared. Otherwise this is my first foray into pumps and not sure where I’ll go with it. I don’t want to horrid this then end up wanting to get a true sniper or something in a year. Then again it won’t be the first oddball I’ve decided is worth hot rodding despite market value.

Just mostly want something for walk on play with inexperienced players right now.

I just built out my girlfriend’s kaos pump similarly, and sending it out to anno tomorrow.

Laz valve is filthy in it, runs ~250psi with no fart

The feedneck I posted is marketed as Mini threaded but that’s just Ion threading

I’ve already lightly perused your thread. Will probably go through it in depth once I have mine.

Your breakdowns are great resources and I enjoy reading through them. Even if I don’t own or intend to own whatever it is on.

Any significant difference between these and the later kpc/kp3 pumps internally?

So far every KP I have had has blown one out at some point.

Shouldn’t be a problem, this one is coming with an ion ref I believe. Thanks for the tip though.
