I sight down the side of the gun

I also practiced a lot at one time

Wearing my mask I would take my Phantom into the back yard
Practicing with your mask on is important since it influences how you hold the gun

I placed a coffee can open side toward me on the ground
Starting at 5 paces from the can I would shoot until I could get 10 in a row into the can
Then I would take 3-4 more steps away from the can and repeat
Eventually I would do the same snap-shooting, kneeling and hugging the edge of a trash barrel
I went through a lot of paint and 12 grams practicing

I point and shoot everything. If I try to aim I always overthink and mess the shot up.

I usually aim down the side of my phantoms/pump markers. Overwhelmingly, that is how I get the majority of my eliminations when playing pump

On my phantoms, I do run a ghost ring but that's more for a frame of reference on the longer lob shots and for quick aiming, usually when I'm moving forward with the marker up / ready to fire position.

I often go back and forth between using my L-stock on my phantoms. I tend to prefer using it on more open fields, but often will go without the stock if it's going to be a closer quarters game. I feel equally capable with or without the stock, but the longer shots are far easier to make with the third contact point it provides.
Rockin' a Phantom and a T2...CCI & CCM for the win.

I don’t use any kind of sight. I just shoot by feel. My advice is to shoot thousands of rounds through the gun at whatever targets you have until you’re awesome at it. Also, don’t mess around with your gun all the time trying to find some mythical perfect. Get it basically great and then leave it so YOU can get used to IT.

I like this approach. If I end up with another 12 gram 10 round gun I would plan to use it extensively and master the art.

Undercocking? Aim down the side of the barel.

Over the barrel? Tip of the barrel as a reference point, although a lot of my actually decent shooting is quick shots based on muscle memory. The longer I try to line things up it seems like the more I miss. The trick is getting myself to trust myself, haha.

I also am a firm believer in stocks or tanks. Something to brace and give me a reliable point of contact helps a lot.

I'm in the "don't overthink" camp. If I take time to line up my shot I am far more likely to miss. Pop out, snap, repeat.

Also no stocks, stocks just get in the way of my BLOODLUST

Also for stock class I find offset feed tubes help a lot. My Super Stocker is dead nuts with the offset and I'm trying my damndest to get a Phantom set up similarly.

we all have our ways to aim and not to aim. so try out what people said on this board try them out. you find one that fits your needs. best thing i can say is this. if have backyard to shoot with fence up up target and try what they said. over time you get use to aiming with it. as for me so use to looking down barrel to shoot.

I've only run a phantom for the past decade or so, whether with 12gs and a t-stock or 13ci tank with a buttstock it's muscle memory mostly.

If I'm going for hero shots in the woods, and am taking the time to take references and adjust then I aim down upper edge of the barrel.

I do better with a stock. For the most part, I instinctively shoot (read: instinctively miss). Have been using my ghost ring more and hitting more often.

Jedi concentration. Just an instinct shot I focus on the target and squeeze.
