    Phantom hangfire

I ran into a hangfire issue today. Pull the trigger and the gun takes about a second to fire. It was not every shot but enough to be concerned. I assume I just need to lube everything up and maybe something is sticking. If anyone has run into this and has a suggestion please let me know.

Double check to be sure your front body screw is fully tightened. And check for broke shells in the body.

Good cleaning and light lube will fix almost anything.

Nothing obvious seemed wrong but I just lubed it. No more issues. I assume the hammer was sticking. Thanks

Good to hear it cleared up. Like Jeep said a loose front frame screw could’ve been the culprit. The sear can push the hammer up instead of tripping it
