Help with asa/45 grip angle

Hi all, not new to the game, but have been out for about 8 years and wanting to get back into it, and so much has changed. I'm wanting to get rid of the angle on my 45 grip phantom so that the stock or tank is a 90 degree or as parallel with the barrel as possible, no angle. Can that be accomplished with a drop forward or do I need some sort of mounting block?

There is a mounting block to accomplish this, basically a spacer.
Pretty sure this can also be accomplished using the basic ASA from CCI. It has the proper angle.

Thanks for the response. I did see those mounting blocks, but they're out of stock everywhere I've seen. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep looking.

Just get rid of the CCI angled ASA and install a traditional duckbill ASA. On a 45 frame the base of the frame is essentially parallel to the top of the frame.

So you bough one that fits on a cocker but will not fit on your CCI? That is weird as they are the same screw spacing both CCI and WGP used the same spacing the odd balls were Spyders and Early LAPCO/Wintec Frames.

Yes I thought it was strange too, the screw holes were inline, but the bottom of the grip was not at an angle that would allow it to fit.

Phantom .45 blocks have an upward angle on their bottom, about 15°ish? "Straight" duckbills end up angled upwards slightly.

FYI, this is the wedge like device that was mentioned - https://baccipaintball.com/mis680.html - This is the wedge to remove the 15 degree angle. This one looks like plastic, I used to have an aluminum one years ago (long gone).

Use a Tippmann M98 duckbill... they have the right angle on them.

With all the other duckbill ASAs I've tried, the position of the bottomline holes won't allow a duckbill to mount up - they're like a 1/4" too far forward, the body of the duckbill hits the back of the frame first.
