"Chopping the top" on my DuckSlide. Who can do it?

The duckslide was giving me serious jamming issues and so i took it off. Thats when i realized that the duckslide's extra weight was making my aim way better. So now i'd like to make it a convertible.
Any ideas on who can do the cut? I'd like to be able to just sent it out to get cut and them possibly sent it out for anno.

I sent mine to Kit to have him mill it. Mine was basically a blender before I had it cut. Having the feed mount to the body completely stopped that.

I'm looking to have the same thing done. I might have a line on someone willing to take on the work, I'll let you know if he is interested in doing it and doing it more then once.

So I’ve spoken to bmc who is open to doing the job, I just need the actual specs on how much to remove. My marker will run the 10 rd feed with the big nylon block, I don’t know if that will make my cut any different from those running the one piece 12 round feed. I’d really appreciate it if anyone out there had access to some calipers and a cut duckslide.
        thanks in advance.

The plastic feed has a larger footprint it’s a lil bit wider than the one pice 12roind feed.

Here are some pictures of mine. Let me know if you need more. I placed a plastic feed block on and it looks like it would work with how mine it cut.

        The channel is 13/16” wide

The front part of the slide is 4.9”

There is about 29/32” between the front of the feed and back of the slide.

Very cool. This gives me a much better idea of how to cut. Thanks for taking the time blachance.

I’ve finally gotten my phantom back. A friend from the woodsball group is an engineer with access to a mill. He took a unique approach of leaving some of the slide behind the feed block.

Interesting take on the milling! Can you still use a one piece aluminum feed or does this limit you to just the standard feedblocks plus feedtubes?

The extra material in the back would definitely get in the way if i was running the one piece feed. Though with the matching ano on my feed tube i doubt that i will ever switch.
