    Cci Phantom Feedneck thread

Was wondering what other Feednecks would fit on the phantom besides the one extreme velocity sells on their website. I was trying to look up what the feedneck thread is but can’t find anything on here. Any help is appreciated.

The CCI base is Angel threads

The body mount is spider dimensions with one screw mount.

CCM base and feedneck will bolt to a CCI SC body with one screw.

Angel to empire adapters are made by a bunch of different companies. Nummech makes them in various lengths too.

I think the center feed bodies with a clamping neck are CCm threaded

Older angels have angel threads. Older CCM's had angel threads. I don't think anything that CCI (phantom) made had angel threads but I could be wrong. The CCI centerfeed ADAPTERS were ccm threaded though. Not angel threaded. I just dug up a feedneck adapter after accepting payment on a CCM threaded feedneck thats been kicking around forever and im gently kicking myself about it right now.

To expand on that. These allow the use of any empire style feednecks to be put onto the CCI base. They come in various lengths. Inception makes one as well. This would fit both CCM and CCI feedneck bases since they are threaded the same. Lots of things fit empire style feedneck stubs.

This isn't for a threaded feedneck but thought I'd put it up here anyway...great product.

I didn’t recommend that cuz I thought he sold them all. Looks like he might still have a few. Theses are definitely one of the best options.

I agree...I love it that it's nice and tight to the Phantom.

I have a ton more - did another batch.

Probably should update that other thread!

      Okay - back to confirm.

The 1 bolt adapters CCI produced that mount on CCI stock class bodies use CCM threads. NOT angel threads. This is 100% confirmed

The centerfeed bodies that CCI produced that had directly threaded feednecks, I am 90% sure also used CCM threads. NOT angel threads.

I'm 100 percent sure on the first one because I've got it sitting in front of me. I'm 90% sure on the other because I don't have it in front of me anymore.

CCM feeneck are Angel thread. The center feed body’s use the same feedneck as the stock class body single hole base. Also any spider feedneck will mount to the CCI stock l Class body. I have used the same adapter to put an empire spring feed on several phantom body’s to troll mag fed games.

Posting here for posterity. The vert feed threaded body I picked up absolutely does not match the Angel threads on the Inception adapter I bought. The adapter thread stub is slightly smaller in diameter than the threaded stub on the body, and the adapter threads are a finer pitch. One of my attached pictures show how the adapter fits inside the feedneck stub without the threads interfering, mismatched diameter. Tempted to just epoxy it in there.

I still need to figure out what threads I have on the body.

I wonder if inception sent you the wrong one.

Is the body new from EV? It might be possible they changed the treads.

No, I got that body on ebay, so I'm not sure what era it's from. From digging around to identify these threads and comparing pictures from different sites, I'm pretty certain it's CCM threaded. I have another adapter inbound so I'll report back after that gets here. I just saw Nate's post below, so now I need to go find a 1/4-20 bolt in my hardware drawer.

      Here's a photo.

CCI stock class adapter and feedneck next to a CCM T2 feedneck. Identical.
edit: The CCM is measuring .845-20 with calipers and a thread gauge but has very flat crests... might measure differently across 3 wires. Use a 1/4-20 bolt as a thread gauge to see if you might have CCM threads.

Angel- threaded stub. Very fine pitch.

My Empire adapter, alone and with a J4 feedneck on it.

-20 threads match, so the CCM adapter should fit. I'll post results here when it arrives. Thanks for all the help!
