I received the pump kit in this week. Thanks Again. First impressions are , it looks good and feels comfortable with my afg on it. The insert was easy to change, and It easily threaded on to my pump arm, I left the nut on because I use 7/8 barrels. The initial fit is slightly tighter then the factory pump handle, and i can feel it when sliding barrel though it, but the return spring had no problems with it.
Took it to the field today and played hard with the speedballers and it worked flawlessly. No issues, sadly I didn't get shot in the gun so I didn't get to see what happens when paint gets between the pump and barrel. maybe next time. So far I am thrilled with this pump and the other players said it looked good.

I might be interested in this if the rail could be inverted- I like to use both a scopecam and a short barrel and the only good way I've found to mount such a thing is on top of the pump. My current setup leaves something to be desired, refinement-wise: https://postimg.cc/F1sg2RT6

Got the handle late last week, I should be able to mount it this week and shoot it on both CCI and round head 👍
I'll post pictures when I test it

I still need to get the last beta unit sent out for testing, but once I have that out of the way, I can see about whipping up a custom top-railed version for you. Would 6" be too long?

Might it be better to only have a short section of the insert at each end of the handle? Cuts down on contact points, could reduce binding/grip and abrasion wear.

after typing that, I realize that's exactly what was done on the Gargoyle - threaded sleeves on each end of the aluminum handle.

I considered that, but since I designed it first as a 1" pump that can be sleeved down to 7/8", I decided to go full-length for the inserts (since many 1" barrels may only have a short section of actual 1" OD). I have considered varying the 7/8" insert by interrupting the helical ribs internally (they're already interrupted externally in an attempt to reduce flexure during printing). At any rate, since the sleeves can be swapped out, there's lots of room for experimentation.

On the CCI barrel it's super steady, but the varying OD of the cocker barrel is hit and miss.
I still need to go through more barrels to see what works and doesn't, but the full length insert was definitely the right choice 👍
Also like the idea of making different sleeve for different barrels, but I may become a mess pretty quickly ...
Maybe 2in section of a few ID and you can stack them in the handle as needed?
That makes the sleeve only 2in (Easter to print but need to print more often?)

I used it again today and finally managed to get shot in the pump handle. Played all day with no problems, came home and cleaned it, there was barely any paint in the low friction sleeve.

Thanks to the beta testers for your very valuable feedback! We determined that including just the 7/8" insert was optimal, as few people would use the 1" insert (and sizing them correctly for the plethora of cocker barrel profiles is highly difficult). That also helps keep the final cost low. First 4 production units have now been completed and are available on the ASP site.

The Inflicted Drop me a line regarding what you'd like for a custom top railed unit.

Got mine in this week, have a foregrip on the way and may pick up a red dot. Print quality is very nice and hoping to hit the field with it soon.

Very smooth! The 1" insert fits over majority of autococker threaded barrels. I tested just about every brand barrel out there.

Got it to the field on Saturday and had a blast. Great product that further adds to the incredible versatility of the Phantom platform.
