Consensus on the dual-rod pump kit?

I've been looking at it and am tempted to try it, but $120 is a lot to drop on something I cannot try out in person first. What's the general consensus? Anyone see them going up used anywhere?

I like it better than any of the rainman kits that came out before. Its just preference, if you are used to pumps with handles under the barrel as opposed to around the barrel then it’s worth it. To me, it makes it much easier to steady and aim.

How does it compare to the single rod undercocker we're all used to?

There's no comparison. The dual rod is a superior creature all around.
I just picked up a new dual rod from the new vendor that looks similar to the OG handle and is a little cheaper. Haven't had a chance to field it but early indications look good.

I actually picked that one up recently also and prefer that to the Vendetta/square cut version that is more expensive. Feels better in the hands. Now you’ll want the dual rod because it feels slightly smoother. It’s worth it just buy one.

The Vendetta version is the one on CCI's website right now, right? What's the version y'all are talking about?

Yessir. That's the Vendetta. There's also this one https://phantomonline.com/product/ph...-retro-uc-kit/ if the Vendetta styling doesn't do it for you.

I love the vendetta version. There are very smooth w/ very little wiggle. The best I have 3 of them.

Dual rod is the best undercocking kit in my opinion. Sturdy, stable and totally worth it. It can make assembly a bit of a chore trying to line up the front frame screw, but other than that it’s great.

I can't use a Phantom effectively without one!

I'm sold on the Vendetta version. The tiny handle version was difficult for me to hold.

                        Thanks guys!

The new Vendetta style pump kit for the Phantom is hands down the best made to date.

Don’t forget to pickup a pump shim. Aggroman sells them, but I think I bought the last three just before MCBpocalypse. Just got them yesterday, they help eliminate some wiggle and smooth out the pump stroke.

It’s probably also worth noting that you can get a custom pump handle that’s compatible with CCI UC kit. Handled a friend’s recently recieved one and they are nice. Check out olddirtymodder on instagram.

The shim is nice. I got a couple when he first started.
