Is this a test? The hammer doesn't have any threading. The bolt does though. 😋.....Did you remember to remove the old nylon set screw(no longer needed) from your bolt?

Whoops, I mistyped. I meant the bolt. Yeah, I did remove the set screw and replaced it, tried it all kinds of ways. The two normal TPCs I have thread in fine.

CUBE what about removing the O-ring on the new TPC and trying to thread in, without it on? Same issue? I've replaced 3, so far, with no issues. But, that was right after the EV/CCI takeover/purchase and may have been an older batch of the "new" O-ring TPCs. If it's from a newer batch(EV made), the threading may be boogered somehow. :man_shrugging:

On a side note: Just to be clear you are no longer trying to use the nylon set screw, right? The O-ring negates the use of a nylon set screw.

Loosen the Teflon set screw place the TPC in the bolt face spin it counter clockwise to Aline the threads 1/2 turn. Then clockwise 1.5 to 2 turns in from flush with stock silver springs. Put it back together should put you in the ballpark fps.

new TPC should be the same spec as the older ones barring any manufacturing defects. All they did was remove the Teflon set screw and install an O-ring on the TPC.
