Who plays regularly with their Phantom?

Just a simple question: do you hit the fields with your phantom often? Or is she a pegboard queen?

I'd like to say I play often with mine, I don't. But I do tinker with it a LOT, several times a week.

I play with my Phantom as much as anything else... I don't own a Phantom... I don't play nearly enough anymore...

Not as often as I'd like. If I'm playing a pure stock class event, I'll grab the Phantom. If I'm playing anything else, it's usually another marker. I've been meaning to give it more attention though.

Absolutely use it all the time. I would say if not at a field with the crew I play renegade with my kids on the land behind my house every 3 or so weeks between.

Yep, this past weekend it was an OC Phantom, then a Blazer, then a Double barrel T4E HDS to finish out the day. Time before that was OC Phantom all day!

I pretty much always have a stock class phantom in the gear bag. I make a point to give it field time every chance I get.

I default to my Phantom for walk on games. I’ll use it in bigger events occasionally too, but that’s about the only time I don’t use it at least part of the day.

I use my Phantom a lot. I don’t own wall hangers. If I don’t use it I sell it.

Back in 2009 before I took a decade hiatus I used my VSC phantom almost exclusively and at 19 years old could move fast enough to be a real contender with it on the speedball field

These days I normally just use a mech gun and gravitate towards a sniper for pump. Although...I do have 2 fantastic phantoms and plan to work them in more this coming season.

I’ve played with an automag and a sniper just once since getting my stock class phantom a year ago. So Yes, Phantom every time.
Maybe I’m just super excited about stock class and this will end in another couple of months. But now I’ve got two phantoms and just played a couple of games with my pgp last weekend. So probably not. I’m in love....

Since I got back into playing in 2019 I’ve been mainly alternating between two new Phantoms and a few older pumps. I don’t own an semi auto gun and never have.

My phantom gets plenty of play. Practice the snap shot, learn your field’s angles and you’ll be able to hold your own against higher rates of fire.
