This frame really does make the perfect paintball pistol, I love how it feels.

this is amazing! I love my ASP handles too! better than any nova duckslide.... -
latches109 I was looking at the duck slide but realized it was mostly cosmetic. The ASP handle sold me on going the roundhead route and being able to use a PWR insert barrel is the icing on the cake. -
I like that handle fits the build nicely

@Chuck - I was trying to see if there was a way to drop a rail down from the sc feed, in order to keep things aligned/stable, I think mounting to the pump might have too much variation. But then again paintball guns arent accurate enough for a red dot, so I might try it -
Did you get the printed sleeve to take the slop out of the handle? I think mounting it low in front might keep it in line with the barrel more. Looks like it sits up high enough for the sight picture to clear the SC feed. Looks cool right ware you placed it.

Just want to say this frame worked flawlessly at the Birthday ball event yesterday. Great work. I love it!Comment

Awesome to hear. Glad you're enjoying it! -
flyweightnate I'm so lagging behind on putting mine together, but I like the way it feels in hand. I'm trying to think of a good ano scheme -
I might do a gloss red or a dark maroon.

Not to burst any bubbles...
Yes, it's coming and it takes CZ grips. No, it's not 86 degrees. 72 degrees, like a CZ75.
But yeah. Coming soon. Get a green membership or subscribe on my site if you want to be the first to know.
Edit: Adding a photo for everyone patiently waiting. The Guun grips are a nice option to slim it down; the Hogues are nice and beefy.Last edited by flyweightnate; 10-05-2025, 07:41 AM.Feedback

Did some testing and the CZ grip inside dimensions aren't feeding the 12g as smoothly. Sent a revision to my local guy and should hear back by end of the week, but still pushing for a November timeline.
This is the awesome part about using local shops. I get to sit down with the machinist, face to face, and we brainstorm alternatives when something isn't quite right. Can't do that in China!Feedback

Eye candy - got the snags fixed and looking at 4-6 weeks plus a human factor since it's holiday season.
A "funnel" to help the skinnier 12gs line up better, and somespeed holesvents in case someone dumps a full cartridge inside.
They'll take CZ75 grips (including Hogues), but were designed to also accept CCM panels which are close but not exact. Splitting the baby as it were.
Around 20 will be available in this batch.

Best I can do at the moment is the "Back in Stock" notification through the website, which sends a mass email when I open preorder "inventory" (or at least it should).
I'll drop a hint in the thread here, as well, a little while in advance.
I'm up for suggestions on other ways to keep track, that won't take a lot of legwork, but each additional "system" is one more chance for someone to get left out. -
All good I'm subscribed to that. Hopefully I’m off when they get posted. -
Offering them in black again?
Stoked for this, but now I have to decide if i want to swap parts on an existing build for this or build a whole new phantom (again) around this frame…oh the choices.

To address the comment above - I think this batch will be exclusively raw, unless there's a mutiny. Ano prep on something this large was beyond my capabilities, frankly, so I'll have to switch anodizers to do these with outsourced prep. Given you all know the same guys I do, I'd rather spend more time relaxing over the holidays and less time doing logistics.
Comment on this thread or PM me if "raw only" is a dealbreaker, so I can at least get a headcount. Anodizing would be a minimum adder of $30 for dust/ $50 for polish, as there's the frame, trapdoor, and valve that all need to be matched. And shipping.
A next year project is upping my polishing game with a proper vibratory tumbler that can do a batch in one fell swoop. And noise control for aforementioned tumbler.Feedback

Raw isn’t a deal breaker per se….but I wasn’t personally planning to deviate from CCI black (or close to it). I tend to keep my color combos pretty simple but maybe I should be thinking about a custom anno for a whole marker one of these days soonRockin' a Phantom and a T2...CCI & CCM for the win.

Can we see pictures of the flat and curved trigger differences?
I think I got it figured out but I just want to be sure. The first rendering is the flat. The curved matches the 45 frame correct? Can I get one of each if there is enough?Comment
