Debating the "can i?" Part of running a few of these off since I have all the correct CAD for the cci phantom.

- these will be bolt on, worked over stock frame design
- use standard CCI triggers
- no safety to reduce machine time
- will come raw heavily tumbled to soften edges
- price point unknown..... I need to look at machine availability and material costs involved

Likely 6061-t6 or t651 if i have it laser blanked from sheet.

I am just beginning to think out loud on this...

I don't think I'm going to make these necessarily VSC compatible as that will add another complexity of operation.

As is making a frame is going to be about four operations for setups minimum of at least four tools per operation.

I have to look into the metrics of doing this before I fully commit to anything. The feeler is more or less is it worth the time to put in the cad file work.

That being said if anybody just wants to pay me for the design I'm more than willing to do that as well CAD time for me is quick but budgeting out CNC time is usually a bear to do at my shop because of the two centers we have most of them are running every day.

I know my plan is to run my new build with another 2.0 gas thru grip, with my 26ci or a new 35ci sicariis tank. So no vertical ASA would work fine for me. I would be looking to run a stock feed or spring feed though.

If you draw it as a dXF 3d print it for proof of design and then send it to Cut Send Cut they can machine it ultra quickly in the US and anodize it. You hold no product and can drop ship them to customers in small or larger quantities based on demand.

Im pretty sure they can still keep like a 10-15 day turnaround from file to finish product sitting on your desk and it’s US based so they are not stealing intellectual property and undercutting if you make something that could be mass produced. I think it’s perfect for small runs.

When I get the time I’m going to break some scalpers with it.

Yeah they will CNC your CAD out of billet and offer in house basic Ano. So you could do a small product run test the market, and do batch orders as interest warrants. I haven’t used them yet but all the reviews I’m seeing are super positive. I see all kinds of small manufacturing opportunities using its business model. They are producing quality product good for most applications. I know people are really looking into the metal printing industry. But having the ability to manufacture small batch CNC machined aluminum is definitely a game changer. I plan on making high end automotive parts for classic cars. Anything people are scalping is fair game.

They're unreal for laser cutting, practically instant turnaround. Haven't tried them yet for machining but I'm curious - and they're just on the other side of town.
