    Alright....

The fancy version and yes I have a full phantom cad file....

Unfortunately this is where it will likely die

Cost at a minimum of 10 units will run $260+shipping raw.

A GORILLION YEARS in the bootleg photoshop on my phone

how much of a pain would it be to get the design tweaked for these options?

To get to that point I'd probably have to order a mile of extrusion to save machining time.

There's not enough people playing that would order one to justify the costs involved

Do you have access to a CNC mill?
        Maybe 3D printed?

I have a CNC mill on order for small batch production, I want to panels first to get that hang of it, but I'm hoping to "graduate" into frames eventually ...
Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...

Two CNC centers plus lasers.... I'm a career engineer.
However I'm outsourcing these just due to the amount of set up involved.

Limited market.... Not spending the time/effort/money on tooling up to make fixtures

            That's what I thought, that's why I was surprised about outsourcing 😅

Yeah, sometimes i just have to say no to some ideas. Cocker bodies and mag rails I've mastered the reusable fixtures years ago.

These would need a left / right side, bottom, and top fixture to make just one grip. Like $300-400 in jig plate alone

And before anybody asks no I'm not doing any one offs.

The cost of setup alone prohibitive for me to even think about running my machines to make these and the initial single part cost from sendcutsend is just crazy.

I wouldn't be using it on a Phantom but I'm game for one.

I'll delete this if Ecapnation feels like its a distraction, but I saw these grips on eBay today and thought some people in this thread might appreciate 45 grips like these:

Nah, leave it up people aren't pounding down my door for these.... I'm not pulling the trigger on anything past cad work.

If someone with cnc's abd free time wants the cad rights.... I'm your huckleberry.
