If you play with 12g it’s *extremely* useful. Your pressure changes with every shot on 12g and with the gauge you can see exactly how much and how much longer you need to wait to get back to 800. The gauge combined with VSC is particularly great because you can warm the 12g with your hand until the pressure comes back. It’s like having a stethoscope or multimeter or whatever for your gun. It’s fantastic. The placement is also excellent. I have them on both my Phantoms.
If you play with bulk CO2 it’s semi useful. If you play with HPA and a regulator it’s only useful for occasional diagnostic reasons.
